"Dim sum" literally meaning "touch the heart" is something that makes dining in Hong Kong an adventure in itself. Dim sum is an endless array of Cantonese style dumplings, pastries, noodles, stuffed breads, and other delicious tidbits. They are eaten with tea as breakfast or lunch at Chinese restaurant. In order to add dimension and flavour to dim sum, various kinds of extra sauces and condiments can be requested for dipping, such as soy sauce, vinegar, chili oil and XO sauce, etc. Surely, there is no place better in the word to enjoy dim sum than in Hong Kong.
