Comments: Our last governor Chris Patten has a passion for this snack. The tart has a marvelous blend of textures: the crispness of the crust and the tenderness of the custard complement each other. The tart is circle in shape and the crust has two different types. One of them is one-thousand-layer pastry and the other is butter pastry. Both of them can bring out different sensations of the custard tart. The egg tart is the best when freshly made.
