Q:Education about Death
Ms Lok:Chinese people are afraid of and do not want to talk about death. Through talks, Ms Lok teaches people to deal with death positively.
People think this is a taboo. We don’t want people to fear. Many people would panic when their relatives pass away. We organize many talks, telling them what are they going to face when something tragic happens. We have been to universities, elderly homes and community centres to educate the people.
People may learn to treat their parents better, so that they would not regret when their parents pass away. I have seen many people being very upset when their parents die. Actually sometimes it’s a form of luck to be scolded by your dad.
Analysis
Death is always not far away from us. We have to deal with death in a positive manner. Through this interview, we have learn that we should treasure the people around us.
