Q:Why did Ms Lok choose this industry?

Ms Lok, about 30 years old, is the fourth-generation boss of Kung Sau. She graduated from a university 7 years ago. Because of the deteriorating health of her mother, and because she is the eldest child of the family, she inherited the family business. To many people, working in the funeral rites industry is disgusting. But Ms Lok, despite being a young lady, is passionate about her job. She hopes that she can use her knowledge to help those in need.

Q:What were the services provided in the past?

Ms Lok:In the past, relatives of the deceased would buy coffins. We would also help them co-ordinate funerals. For example, we would teach them some funeral rites and made funeral clothes for them. We basically directed the funerals.
