Chinese sausages can be found in grocery stores. The sausages are very hard.
They are sold in pairs and connected by a thick cord. Normally, the sausages
are about six to seven inches long and one-half inch in diameter. The typical
way of cooking Chinese sausages is steaming. We usually steam the Chinese
sausages together with rice so that the rice can be strongly flavored with
sausages.
