According to the Hong Kong Year Book 1966, there were many shops which sold incense and paper offerings. The ‘wedding and funeral’ category also includes the fortune-telling industry. This shows that in Chinese tradition, fortune tellers are often employed when organizing weddings and funerals.
The number of funeral homes also increased from 7 to 12.
